After listening to the Rock Star RE Investor webinar again last night, I wanted to reintroduce myself. I'm Ronald and I a new Bham investor transplanted from the DC/MD/VA area. I've closed one deal there, a small 4 unit apartment building. Honestly, I made a lot of mistakes with that, but I've also learned a lot. Connecting with BP is a blessing from God. I only wish I knew about BP then. Maybe I would still own it. Anyway, fast forward to 2015. I am primarily focusing on wholesale deals right now in an effort to build my cash reserves. I enjoy listening to BP and other podcasts and reading everything I can get my hands on. I'm "investing" full time now (not entirley by choice) and I've been fortunate enough to link up with a mentor here. The information he shares is priceless and I thank God for him. Anyway, I look forward to connecting with all BP members that will allow me to. God bless and profitable investing.....

Thanks

for all of your input. Obviously there are many more details that need to be considered and this may very well be overwhelming.  Just for conversation's sake, would the same considerations be valid for transitional housing?

Does anyone have any advice on getting started with small multi-unit investing with the ultimate goal of making the property available to agencies for their clients needing SRO and/or Supportive Housing assistance?

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the Bessemer AL area.  Specifically, what would a 2/1 with a basement retail and/or wholesale for?  It needs minor cosmetics and possibly a basement sealant.
