For vacation homes, many companies have limits on the length of rental (total # of weeks rented, minimum length of stay, etc.).  Also, location is key.  If you are in a coastal, wild fire, etc.. area that may also impact the company that is the best value for you.  

If your current agent can not provide a quote I suggest contacting a Independent Agent.  They should be licensed in the state that the property is located and should have multiple markets.  If the standard companies do not fit (ie. Travelers, Hartford, etc...) there are specialty markets that may be the answer.  

Don't forget to review the amount of Liability coverage you have with your agent.  You may want to consider an Umbrella policy to add more Liability coverage.
