OOPS. Didn't realize this post was from a month ago. Did you ever get any responses for your question?

Welcome to BP. I'm glad you asked that question. I too am just getting started in REI. And I am trying to scour the forum for CPA's and Lawyers that are knowledgable about Real Estate. I'm in Fair Lawn but if you guys refer me to a good one, I will travel to wherever. Good luck bro.

I'm looking to Invest right here in Bergen County and although I don't have any projects as of yet, I've read enough horror stories about unreliable GC's, and knowing a couple of reliable and dependable handy men can be a great asset. I hope you guys don't mind if I come back to this post and reach out for contact info when the time comes.

Hey all, I'm new to REI and even newer to the BP forum. Looking forward to meeting you all. Really hoping to meet some REA's that are investor friendly.

Hey Jason. I'm just starting out in REI as well and still learning. I'm here in Fair Lawn and would be really interested in following your progress being that you probably had the same questions that I have now. I'm not sure why you are hesitant to use a HML. Is it because it will cut into your profits? It seems like there are plenty of options for HML out here, but like you said, they are pricey. But until we develop a solid lenders list, I think we would have to bite the bullet with interests costs. That way you are not risking your own funds. Just my 2 cents.
