Inquired about a possible rental duplex. My agent told me that the property had a murder/suicide within the past year. Anyone have experience with this in any of their deals?

If so what were some of the obstacles, if any, should I expect?

Also could I use that as leverage to negotiate price?

Seller is also an investor.

I see that you’re out of NC, why’d you decide to go out of state?

I currently live in Fairbanks alaska which the vacancy rate for 2018 came in a little over 13%. We are forecasting that number to drop solely reliant on an army and air force installation receiving more active and civilian personnel but still weighing our options in possibly investing out of state.

Any success stories from investors in the bp community that have built their team out-of-state? Research tactics, joint ventures and what not to do.  GO!!!
