@Steve Sanchez, thanks for the offer I'll keep that in mind.

@John Van Uytven my short term goal is to have 10 properties by the end of this year. Long term wise, still working through that. I'm looking at this as a compliment to my full time job, which I thoroughly enjoy also, and retirement income. 

Any advice for navigating through Bigger Pockets? It seems kinda daunting as a newbie here.

I'm Ryan Moody and just recently jumped into real estate investment.

I have been interested in rentals and real estate since I was young, and was a Realtor for two years about 10 years ago, but never took the step into investing.

Last August I made my first investment purchase by purchasing a duplex with my father-in-law. Last month I purchased 3 more houses and am currently looking at a handful of others. 

I am also "managing" one unit for my father-in-law.

I'm relatively new to this and am looking forward to learning as much as I can from this site and those who I have been gleaning from in the Peoria area.
