Travis Daggett Thank You! Was there a certain way you went about making those relationships? I have thought about trying to make relationships with some contractors here and I just don't even know where to start haha I'm in Phoenix. It also seems very difficult to find wholesale deals in phoenix. I don't know if that is just this part of the country or what!

I am looking to become a "Wholesaler", but there are a few things that I want to make sure I do right. There are alot of so called Wholsalers out there, and I would rather not go down that path. I know that it takes time and money to do anything in this world. I am willing to put in both, but I want to make sure I invest my time and money in the right areas. If you have any advice shoot away.

What helped you to succeed?

What mistakes did you make?

What was your main method that helped you to succeed?

Thank you =]

Mark Wuollet Welcome!! What do you do for Bakerson? They seem to have their hands in everything around Phoenix! I am from the East Valley.

I understand the contract problem, but there is a completely legal way of obtaining contracts. There is also a way to word the contract to where the Wholesaler, The seller, and The buyer are protected. I think telling the seller that you (the wholsaler) are personally purchasing the home from them is wrong and probably illegal, but other than that I see no problem with it..

I have notice a recurring problem when I talk to some folks about wholesaling. The question "isn't that illegal?" comes up alot. I think its time to clear the air!!

MY OPINION: there wouldn't be a blog with thousands of people talking about wholesaling real estate if it were Illegal...

Hey Pace, I am from Phoenix as well. BP is awesome, and these people know what they are talking about. There are several different strategies to get into the RE biz that I had no clue about until joining. One thing I would do (aside from joining BP) is to get into a RE investor club. Networking is huge to success!
