I have a lot of resources in Killeen. How can I help?
Hey Elliot, thanks for leaving a comment! I believe having good resources and a solid team is especially useful when investing out of state. I would love to hear some of the resources you have in Killeen and honestly, I think my next priority would be finding some reliable and trusted contractors that do quality work. Also if you have anything else you want to share or some advice/tips (whether in general or specifically about the Killeen area) I'm always open to hearing it! Thanks :)

Congrats on the purchase @Ryan Stout! This is my fourth time to have lived here in the area. I think it’s a great market. I have done long distance PM in the past. It’s not impossible, but having a local friend like you do will really help. Feel free to reach out anytime!
Thank you, Allan! I'm planning to be on these forums a lot to continue learning and education. Appreciate you leaving a comment and reaching out! Glad to connect with you.

Hi everyone, I recently closed on a triplex in Killeen, Texas, and wanted to reach out to anyone who had any tips, or tricks, or just wanted to connect! Contractors, agents, PMs, investors, anyone haha. The property is relatively updated with an average amount of renovations here and there (getting one unit rent-ready after the previous tenant, new flooring in another, fixing some doors, new paint, etc.) needed across the units. I live in California but plan to manage it myself (yes I know I know) with the help of a trusted friend I know in the area (a friend who knows what they are getting into lol). Frankly, the costs of a PMC just do not make sense at the moment with the cash flow; not sure if I was just talking to the wrong people or that's just what this area is like but it's not really viable unless the monthly rate is lowered to make sense. Regardless, I just wanted to make a post and see whose active or knows about the Killeen/Bell County area. Any comments, replies, or tips are much appreciated :)
