@Helen Jiang Hi Helen! I am a real estate agent in Cincinnati and will glad-fully answer any question you may have! As well as that, consider Northern Ky as well, it is often looked over because of Cincinnati but provides opportunities to invest as well. DM me if you have any questions or just want to connect!

I like both options. They both seem like good ideas to me and really can't go wrong with either. I for one would move out and house hack, but I also live in greater Cincinnati where prices are much lower and I have my license in this area. Wherever you choose to invest, consider investing in Cincinnati, it is a good cash flow market. I am an agent and would be happy to answer any question you may have. DM if you have any questions or to connect!

Thank you!

Hi Kendricks, you may want to figure out what you are looking for first. Cash flow or appreciation? While most property's will do both, certain areas like in the midwest including Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, parts or northern ky, etc, will be more cash flow property's with not as much appreciation compared to somewhere on the coast. I for one am a real estate agent in OH, and soon in Ky, and I am also planning to invest as well. House hack in small multifamily. I would be happy to help you anyway I can and if you do decide to invest in Cincinnati or Northern ky, I will be investing there as well! DM if you have any questions you'd like to answer or just want to connect!

Thank you!

I'm 18 years old looking to buy my first small multifamily property to house-hack in the next 6 months. I make decent money my age and am very disciplined with it as well. But part of the problem I am in is that a very significant amount of my monthly income wouldn't be accepted by a lender seeing as it would have to be steady for 2 years. My parents agreed to co-sign for me once I can show them I am making good/consistent money to pay for the property. I want to give them a % of equity in the property to thank them for being my co-signer so they aren't taking on that debt for no reason. But i'm not sure how much to give them. Has anyone does this before and found a percent that is fair to offer to the co-signer? Note: Using FHA 5% down and I am paying for everything my own, they're simply taking the debt

Thank you in advance!

Hey everybody!

This meetup continues to grow and will continue to be a monthly meeting at a local brewery and/or pub. We will meet on the first Thursday of every month. There is currently no agenda; instead, I'd really just like to provide networking opportunities and give people a chance to meet other investors. I think it can feel a bit lonely out there and I'd like to be able to encourage other investors when possible.

Ultimately, I'd like to be able to invite speakers to come to the meeting so that we can discuss targeted topics that are helpful to the group. For now, it'll just be networking. If you have any questions, please respond to this post or DM me and I'll do my best to answer any questions.

As always, I'm looking forward to meeting a few new people!

Hi Joshua, I live in the greater Cincinnati area. I have eard very bad things about fairmont, as well as price hill, and avondale. I work for a real estate agent named Zac Elliot. He is very knowledgeable about CIncy, much more than me. @Zachary Elliott

Hi Antonio, I see you're from Cincinnati, Oh. There is a great monthly meeting at Madtree Brewing in Cincinnati. it is the first Thursday every month. I am an assistant for the agent that hosts it, and even before I was hired by him, it was a great very social meeting. Pretty relaxed as well. You can find the information in the local meet ups section of BP posted by "Zac Elliot"!

Hi Stefanie, I live in NKY and plan to invest in small multifamily in Cincinnati later this year. I am also getting my RE license in OH, should be done in less than a month. I work for an agent right now as well, I will be on his team once I get my license as well. Let me know and I can connect you to him! He has many contacts in the NKY and Cincinnati area, as well as experience!
