Hi all!! 

Looking to buy a small home in Erie, PA for a STR and also as a place to stay when we visit as I have roots in the area. This is my first STR buy. :)

It's been a while since I've lived in the area and I'm not super familiar with how the area has developed in recent years. 

Would love any insight on:

  • Neighborhoods to keep an eye on (or avoid)
  • How the STR market is performing
  • Any local quirks, regulations, or things to consider
  • General investor sentiment on Erie right now
