Looking to Invest in Erie, PA – STR + Personal Use

Hi all!! 

Looking to buy a small home in Erie, PA for a STR and also as a place to stay when we visit as I have roots in the area. This is my first STR buy. :)

It's been a while since I've lived in the area and I'm not super familiar with how the area has developed in recent years.

Neighborhoods to keep an eye on (or avoid)

How the STR market is performing

Any local quirks, regulations, or things to consider

General investor sentiment on Erie right now
