Hi @Sean Julian, thank you so much for your feedback!

Hello Fellow Midwest Investors,

I’ve been analyzing deals in South Bend market and think I’m ready to make some offers on a few properties. Does anyone have any recommendations on property managers in the area. Can you comment on the expected rates as well? Are they 5-7% in this market with the higher rate for C class type properties? We’ve had bad experiences with 2 different property management companies in Chicago and know that the PM is the most important piece for remote landlords. Finally on the 3rd try we found a good one. It would be nice to get a good PM from the start if possible as we branch into new markets…

Thanks for any insight anyone can provide via reply or PM.

I have 10 conventional mortgages mostly in Chicago. Can anyone recommend any local Chicagoland banks or lenders that will work with out-of-state residents in situations such as this? I’m trying to avoid commercial loans with balloons and the high rates of hard money lenders. I have 5 more SFRs UC and trying to identify the best path forward.

Any ideas are appreciated!

Hi All, does anyone know if any of these banks work for residents outside IL? I have 10 conventional loans and am looking to pick up more property in Chicago. Thanks for any feedback for out of state residents.
