I am looking for any out of the box meet ups in the salt lake area. I am aware and am going to be going to the SLREI meetings, but I was wondering if there were any other meetups going on that I could be a part of

I have a buyer that is wanting a lot I have found but before I can get it for him (it's under contract with a 30 day out contingent on partner and inspection w/tit;e search) I need to find a builder that builds in the area for $116/sqft or less... I am really new to this and the deal kind of fell into my lap and I would like to be able to get this under my belt. I am wondering if anyone can offer advice to getting good builders who fit my criteria

Bryce Young, Thanks for the referral I will look him up for sure.

Jordy, I would love to get together with you, I have a lot of work ahead of me and need to have a good team to back it up. I have a very ambitious buyer who wants a lot of specific property types. We can talk about it later when we meet.

Trevor, I definitely want to talk to you as well and go over my numbers with you and see if we can make something work.

I know this sounds like I am stretching myself guys, but I am looking for the right fit and I need to find it by getting to know a lot of agents. Therefore I can't just commit (especially on a forum post) without feeling you out and I believe you should get a chance to do the same with me.

I am looking for a good agent who knows how to work with an investor. someone who isn't going to just send me deals he/she wants to unload on the first person they can. If you are one of these agents or know of one in the Salt Lake area message me please.

I guess I should be a little more clear, I have a local mentor, but I believe in getting as much exposure as I can. He agrees of course because he had multiple mentors as well and loved the difference it made for him. As he puts it, with different mentors comes different strategies you may not have thought of before. Never stop learning from anyone more successful than you. Hence the post.

So I am just starting out and I have been looking in the Salt Lake area for good deals. I am curious as to where to find these diamonds. I have been told, and have to agree that if they are listed on MLS chances are they are already flooded with other investors and harder to get the best deals. Any suggestions. Also I am looking for any lenders or seasoned investors that are looking to partner up.

@James Wise

I am a student of Renatus. Right now I am taking the classes for Short Sales and wholesaling. Later I would like to get into tax liens and deeds. Ultimately I would like to own several rentals and go from there.
