@Justin Pierce
I think Richmond is a great city headed in the right direction. The future is bright here.

@Cameron Tope

I don’t disagree with you but I do like to always question so I can reassess.

@Charles M.
I have no idea what the government will do. I don’t think they do either. :)

@Tom Fisher

Thanks. I will be fine. I think a foreclosure boom is very likely. We will see.

@Ayne C.

Yes to all of the questions. Our current issue is we can’t evict. We have gone through all the steps just can’t actually get possession. Anyways, we will be fine but it is something that would have be pretty hard to anticipate. We never know what the future holds.

@Jacob Korobellis
I think so for sure. Most investors would be very happy with that.

@Jon K.
Writing stuff down is magical. When you put it on paper it suddenly becomes real and you have to go out there and make it happen. I am a strong believer in writing down your goals.

I agree the more work, risk and time the higher I want my return.

How many people out there thought rentals were the path to wealth? Are any of you questioning that now? I guess there is a good argument that eventually things will go back to normal and rentals will once again be the path to wealth. Of course, that assumes you survive economically. I know that my rental portfolio is struggling. I have tenants that are clearly taking advantage of the situation. On top of that they are damaging the properties or stealing the appliances.

Will the world change? Will rentals become more socialized? I don’t know and I don’t pretend to know but I find it hard to believe that if this stretches out for 18-24 months, which I think is realistic, that there won’t be some ingrained differences in people. My friend is Swedish, and they live basically in socialism. He says there are few Real Estate entrepreneurs because it is not a profitable business. The health care seems nice though.

What changes do you see in the future, if any?
