I had a similar issue in Memphis about 6 months ago.  I would consult legal advice immediately. I used a lawyer out of Knoxville and was very satisfied with her.  Ill DM you her information.

We are close to completing a 9 unit, heavy lift, in the Uptown section of Memphis.  We are looking for a few local options for a cash out refinance.  The property is completely re-done and in a decent area.  

Any recommendations for a local bank or credit union would be much appreciated!
