Hey there, did you happen to find anyone?

@Jerryll Noorden talking about similar situations, my wife's name is Jess lol

@Jerryll Noorden wow, this is fire...

At last I read of someone speaking the truth.

I am starting out and with no money, in a new city, and with no job, oh and in a new country (USA)...

So you can imagine this is a tough situation.

However I'm not playing victim here, I left my M.D. title on the shelf to pursue a better life, I knew I will face situations like this....

And Yes... I spent 7 years on something that I really didn't want to do.

But hey, at least I am living a happier life and I know I will make this work

Now, coming back to the main point.

For someone starting out like me and in this situation, reading about bandit signs, dmm, and all that is quite discouraging.

Everyone saying that you have to do it while they openly admit about the TERRIBLE conversion rates.

That gets me thinking,"there must be a better way"

I would say that I have an advantage over many of my competitors and that is... "a powerful story", my background, something that people can connect to, wether that is on a VSL, a website or a letter, but it makes me human, just like them.

With mistakes, feelings, fears and aspirations

Now why do I say all of this?

Well, the main point is that I really see opportunity in doing other strategies in which I believe in. For this I would like to THANK YOU for your post.

Not only has it encouraged me to focus on online strategies but it has reassured me that the things I learned so far from some marketing gurus are always applicable to ANY business and you can start from scratch.

Anyways, thank you again and I would LOVE to connect with you, since I have seen that you add a lot of true value to the community at BP and your posts are always packed with the truth...

Cheers man, stay safe and thank you

@Lorena Remmell this was way more helpful than 20 messages going back and forth defending personal points of view.. thanks

@Jeffrey Chan Hello and welcome!

I have been a lurker as well, but it was mostly because I didn't have the opportunity to jump into the RE business yet.

Now I am ready and I am starting out in Miami as well.

I would love to connect with you since I will be looking to wholesale and then go into the fix and flip business.

Please send me a message if you want to connect further.

Welcome and let's make 2020 the best year so far for us!

Cheers

@John Warren this book got me started on the "entrepreneurial journey" and got me excited about new opportunities that I didn't see before. Definitely one to start out with, right now I am reading "the book on flipping houses" by Scott & Bigger Pockets... It has been amazing so far.

*Just starting out in the RE business

@Marc Middleton Thank you very much Marc. Your answer has been very helpful. And as @Jim K. says, I am marrying her. I just wanted to know if it was forbidden to Invest in Real Estate if I didn't have the green card yet. So I can open an entity (LLC) as a foreigner and would have no problem? @Andreina Marquez.
@Michaela G. thank you Michaela, I will marry her, I just wanted to know if there is any problem for me to start investing while my green card is in process.
Thank you very much everyone you have been very helpful
