Hi BP family!
Nadia here from NYC! I'm a first-time investor looking to network, learn and purchase my first investment property this year! I'm excited to interact, learn and grow my investment knowledge with some fantastic and well-versed individuals in the real estate investment space. Let's chat!

Hi Nadia! I am a newly licensed agent in North Carolina! I am also new to investing myself! The bigger pockets podcast is really good insight on new investors. I have learned alot :)

@Shaniqua Knight, read "SOLD" by David Greene, a great book for agents starting out and will answer the majority of your questions/concerns.

Thank you Michael! I will definitely check it out!

Shaniqua congrats!  Your in a good state (I am in SC).  I am not an agent but I can tell you that if you simple answer your phone or return calls you will be in the top 10% since most agents do not.  Also, try to be an investor friendly agent and provide value to investors that call.  Now watch out since many investors will take and not give much so you have to draw the line but I think all these relationships will gain you clients.  By the way I have a property in Fayetteville NC.

 Thank you Randy!

Hello BP!

I recently became a licensed broker in NC! While I am super excited to embark on this journey, I am still of course a little nervous for obvious reasons. Any advice for a new agent to build relationships and gain clients?

While you are figuring it out and/or deploying it over time, US Treasuries and certain CDs are paying 5%...and 4% for certain online savings accounts.

Thank you!

Can you share how to access these CD's?

I know you asked about cd's , but the IBond is currently paying 6.8%. Hard to beat for zero risk.

This is a great idea thank you! I have no problem paying for a walkthrough just so I can see while they explain things.
