Thanks for your response Michael. Any additional info on contracts? I'm guessing there are templates for that, but does an attorney generally look those over? Appreciate your time.

  • Have your writing methods changed since you left school?     Emails no longer have ‘Dear’ or ‘To Whom it May Concern’.  No more Sincerely etc
  • Jut get to the facts.    Eg What time will the electric be installed?   Emails are more like texts.   Get things done efficiently.  Without fanfare or extra unneeded words

Hello All! This is my first post here. I am currently taking a writing for business course as I pursue my degree. I am wondering if anyone would be willing to take time to answer some questions for this course as the assignment is to interview an individual in a field of interest. I have been working in insurance for the last 10 years and I am looking for a change. Pursuing my degree is a piece of the puzzle for me. Eventually I hope to get involved with real estate investments. Questions are below, I only need one response for the assignment but any information is valuable to me as a newbie. Looking forward to learning more.
