Dare, Allen Jones at Allen Jones Insurance can help you navigate the claim and give you insight on coverage. I’ve messaged you with his number.

Welcome, Mikk Phillips FB has great info and so does BP. We actually have 2 REIAs here in town, Alamo City and San Antonio. And when you have questions or need help, there’s a good pool of local experience here on BP you can reach out to as well. :)

Brandon definitely mentioned some popular places, but I have another thought for you to consider as well. Basic training is at Lackland Air Force Base, and there is a graduation nearly every single weekend of the year. People come from every state to see their Airman graduate, and they fill hotels all across the town. In your price range, you could provide a comfortable place for families to stay that’s far closer to the base than the hotels. It would save families from trying to navigate San Antonio and make it to the events on time; It would allow them to spend more precious time with their graduate-because time with their sons and daughters and siblings and spouses is very limited on that weekend; and it would provide a year-round opportunity for you to keep the unit filled and cash flow. I have already earmarked several properties for you… If you’d like to have a peek, just send me your email, and I would love to chat with you more about this strategy.

Agree with Wayne Brooks and Russell Brazil on all points. Selling a unique property means having to find a niche buyer, and one who is willing to spend double, and on a sight-unseen property at that. That’s going to be a big challenge. Your agent will have earned every cent.

No need to use an Agent for anything real estate related usually - especially if you can do it yourself and save that money. I wouldn’t go quite that far! ^^^ Lol but there are plenty of self-management tools available if you choose to do so. The one previously mentioned; and I personally like landlordstation, cozy, erentpayment... all pretty good resources.

This happened to a fellow Realtor in my brokerage recently. She brought in the FBI, and between them and the lender (SOO above and beyond their scope!!) and the title company, the fraud was traced and all $67,000 was recovered. Make the call!

I personally get a whole lot of interest for lots and homes in the Spring Branch area, but not for rentals. Maybe someone else can chime in on rentals.
