Hi everyone! @Account Closed and I created notes for the SF Real Estate Summit 2020 this past weekend and thought we might as well share it with the community. Hope you guys get some value out of it:

Wow! I haven't been keeping track of this thread these last couple of days. I'm trying to compile a list of contacts but I'm getting overwhelmed. Also starting to think I should look more into other places, like Florida and Vegas. Anyone have details on those markets? Loving all this discussion - thank you everyone for your great inputs!

So after expressing interest in OOS my friend went on a spiel bashing it and said it doesn't build wealth, could destroy your life and nobody he knows didn't regret it, that people who say it worked are liars and full of crap, and that it could provide short term cash flow but their wins are minimal, and you have to go Class A for everything. Though he's reached a level of FI he had Chicago properties that were failures and caused a lot of stress and money loss. I wasn't pushing back, said I totally agree it could be all bad and that I'll need to study and think on it more, but he kept treating his views as facts and pushing them down my throat regardless...even if he's right I'm still shocked by his behavior but that's a whole other story I'd like to gather more data points while I study. Do any of you guys have detailed examples you can provide, with some numbers of the good, bad, and the ugly? Maybe some examples of people who retired through OOS or lost everything through OOS, etc. I always want to keep an open mind. Thanks!

@Anthony O. Oh sweet did you find them on here? What's your criteria when it comes to figuring out if they are good or bad? Thanks! 😊

@Matt Caputo oh I'm in South Bay as well! We should connect. I agree it is nice hearing lots of people in the same situation!
