@Courtney Rollins Just sent a connection request.  Great to see some folks in the area from around B'more.  I mentioned to someone a little earlier that I was living in Prince George's County before moving to Huntsville back in 2009.  Looking forward to possibly meeting and working with you.  How long have you been investing and what kind of rentals do you have?

@Jason Grey, I actually live just outside Gate 7 and agree.  Their even expanding the roadways out in this area to accommodate the increase in cars.  The ballpark is also being built just down the road.

Thanks @Benjamin Seibert!  and @James Wise.  Appreciate the welcome.  Ben, I spent 16 years close to Baltimore over in PG County.  A lot of investors from PG were flocking over to Baltimore to do rehabs back then.  My Dad's family is from Carroll County (Sykesville & Westminster).

Hi Everyone!   My name is Shawn Costley and I'm from Huntsville AL.  I'm somewhat new to real estate investing.  My focus primarily is on exploring the wholesaling market, but would like to eventually get into rentals/small multi-units as I grow more knowledgeable.  

I'm very serious about my pursuits and am looking to interface and network with successful wholesalers in the Madison County area who have had success in the wholesaling field.

New to wholesaling and living/looking for wholesaling opportunities in the Huntsville/Decatur/Athens area.  Would like to talk to successful wholesalers who have completed more than one deal.  I'm very serious about putting the time and effort into making my wholesaling efforts a success and would like to get your viewpoint on the viability of the wholesale market in the aforementioned locations.

If you don't mind, could your share your experiences with wholesaling and the number of deals your done in the area?  What would you say are the top three challenges in the Huntsville/Athens/Decatur market(s)?

 Hi Leslie!  I personally live in the 35824 area (very close to Redstone Arsenal).  Great mixture here of owners and rentals.  It is growing quite a bit here and the infrastructure is racing to keep up with homes being built, etc.  My particular subdivision has a few rentals--most are rented short term due to the military presence on the arsenal.  Tenants are staying 2-3 years then getting stationed somewhere else.
