Hi everyone,

I’m currently evaluating a land contract deal in Fayetteville, NC for a multifamily property (seller financing, $300K purchase price). The seller is open to transferring the deed in 1–2 years, after we demonstrate stable payment performance and build some trust.

This is my first time structuring a deal like this, and I want to make sure we do it right from the start — especially regarding:

✅ Drafting the land contract agreement correctly
✅ Protecting our interests as the buyer
✅ Understanding key risks (e.g., default, title issues, eviction rights)
✅ Recording the contract, servicing, and exit planning

I’m looking to connect with an attorney or investor experienced in North Carolina land contracts who can help draft or review the agreement, explain the legal protections, and walk me through the pros/cons of this strategy.

💼 Happy to pay for your time and guidance — whether it’s a quick consult or full contract support.

If you have experience or can recommend someone reliable (especially NC-specific), please DM me or drop a comment below. Appreciate the help from the community!

Thanks so much in advance!
