@Leo Kotschenreuther thanks for taking the time to respond. This is very helpful. Two follow up questions:

1) If you had to do it over again AND invest in Lufkin, what would you do differently?

2) Why were you HUD-approved? Is that a requirement or does that provide some sort of benefit? I'm not too familiar with HUD as far from a Landlord perspective.

@Leo Kotschenreuther I’m sorry to hear that. What have been some of the frustrating factors of being a remote investor? Sounds like working with a property manager is a pain point. Is that because they’re not as responsive as you’d like? Is that to both you and your tenants? Has your property cash flowed well? Do rentals fill quickly in Lufkin? So many questions..

Hi guys,

My name is Skyler and I'm looking to invest in SFH in Lufkin, TX. Are there any areas within Lufkin that you'd avoid investing in? I'm looking to purchase a 3 bed 2 bath home for under $100K that will be managed by a property management company. Any recommendations will be much appreciated!
