Does anyone have any referrals to decent contractors in the area? I’m just starting out and newer to the janesville area so basically have to start from scratch with connections. Any advice would tremendously help. Thanks in advanced!

For everyone that has mastered the art of finding lenders, interviewing them, and picking them out. How do you accomplish this. Are there any must knows? I’m specifically looking to try and find a decent hard money lender. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks! 

@Benjamin Seibert I have been looking into Hard Money more and more.... but I always get stumped at who do i choose. I know BP has a directory for them, but I feel like I have no idea how to decide on which one to try and work with. 

For all the experienced investors out there, where would you search/go for funding to do a deal on a distressed property, if it's your very first deal, you have $20,000 of your own money to throw into it, and you want to do the BRRRR method? I feel like until I figure this part out I'm at a roadblock with my investing goals. Thanks for any and all replies it truly will help tremendously!
