Hello,

Im a newbie investor here and very much appreciate everyones insight. I own a primary residence in the north bay area and recently had an opportunity of a lifetime to live in a place rent/mortgage free for the next year. I have a full time job that pays well and have almost $190k equity in my residence. My question for all of you experienced investors is:

Do I sell my house while the market is hot, take the equity to pay off my debt and invest in a better cash flow area? Or do I rent the house out which would have much less cash flow but would keep my low percentage loan to keep building equity in the home.

Thanks for any suggestions!
