If you see real estate taxes spike up like this, I would look into whether if you can appeal the tax increase at your local board of assessment appeals.  You can look for a specialist in your area to help you in the matter.  We had a property in our state where the real estate taxes jumped from $40K to $60K per year.  But after successfully appealing, we were able to bring the taxes down to $45K.

Hi @Dan Tran - were you able to find a tenant for your Section 8 rental?  If so, how long did it take to fill your spot?
