Finding deals has been rough. Little inventory, which gets snatched up in hours. Would like to start small with a condo and go from there.

Welcome! We have a few meetups coming up soon. There’s one this Monday at 6:30pm at Fords Garage on Sheldon and I host one at Cigar City Brewing at 6pm on the 18th. I’d love to meet you and chat more at either!
Thanks, Khaled. I may go to the meetup at CCB.
Hello, all. My name is Steve. After a few months of researching properties and listening to the Bigger Pockets podcast, I made the plunge today and got a pro membership. I've been wanting to get into buying investment properties for a few years now. Joining was a much-needed step in this journey of many, many steps.
Right now, I'd like to start out small and buy a condominium and either rent it out or flip it and sell it, depending on what the market does. From there, I'd like to buy more properties. I'm doing this mainly for extra cash flow, and also for retirement savings. I'm 44 now and figure I have another 25 years of work, but want to become independent earlier than that and have to option to work, or not work.
I look forward to participating in the forums, networking, and learning.
