Many thanks for your comments! I agree it is easier to buy to rent. It is just recently the market is too hot I cannot find the type of properties I want to buy. I just wanted to start thinking of this possibility, as eventually I want to become a developer. I will keep BP updated on what I could find out. Thanks again!

Hello, I am new to BP and I am thinking of building duplex to rent. Is there any builder direct to investors here around Kalamazoo-Grand Rapids, MI area? I would also like to discuss with anyone with prior experience. Thanks!
