@Andy Audate $30k is the total purchase price. However, i would like to look at properties in the $60k mark but i would like a mortgage with that and if i can put down 20% - 30% deposit, hopefully i can secure a mortgage.

If anyone out there think they can help me then please PM me.

Thanks to all, have a great day!!

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to thank everyone who has given me advice and have taken the time out to explain the differences. It has definitely opened my eyes and as said before I'm a UK citizen and reside in the UK so my knowledge of the USA housing market is very limited and all the knowledge i have gained is because of you guys and this great forum.

The major problem i have is that any property i look at is going to paid in cash and i want to purchase a property every year. I've looked into getting a mortgage and for a UK citizen, the loan amount cannot be less than $100,000. If there is someone out there who knows i can get a mortgage in a different way; i am all ears!!

Once again - THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!!!!!!

Hello to all BP members,

I am a UK citizen and have loved the US from a very long time. I am looking to purchase a number of properties in the near and foreseeable future and would like some honest advice.

I've seen properties that are available for $20,000 to £70,000 with cap rates between 9% - 14% after i have done my calculations and the returns are good based on the cash spent on the property. What i am looking to do is seek advice from fellow investors to see if $30,000 turnkey properties are good/great investments and what i should be aware of.

PS i am looking to retire in the USA because that is where my heart belongs.

Regards,

Sunny
