Hello everyone! What a great find this site is!

I'm 6 years new to the west coast, originally an east coast girl (NY, FL, PA, MD). I was a Realtor in FL about 10 years ago but only got involved to start investing. Sadly, I was never able to begin, but now I'm ready.

I think God has had a plan for me all along...

I currently own my own judgment recovery business. I enjoy the process and feel it's helped me tremendously to make the leap into this new venture of investing in real estate.

When I started in the JR business, I floundered for a while reading up on everything I could get my hands on, studying, learning until I got to the point where I was on information overload & just dove in. I think I'm at that point now with my investing career. I've read countless books, taken several courses, listened to numerous CDs, been to club meetings and now I feel it's time to dive in. Although you'll rarely find me without a book in my hand (or purse or car), I can only absorb so much. I'm a hands on kind of person and need to get involved. It's the only way I'll truly learn this business.

My day job is working in the default resolution dept for a major bank. Needless to say, I'm soaking up as much knowledge as I can.

I firmly believe this job and my little JR business are my stepping stones into the investment world and hope to go at it full time by the end of this year.

I am in Orange County. Currently focusing on making contacts and putting my "team" together. Trying not to get caught up in analysis paralysis, but feel I would be better situated to go through a deal with minimal risk if I have my players in place. You're only as good as your team right?

I am so excited to have found this forum because it was the JR forum and the veterans on that forum that got me through my first judgment. I am forever grateful for all of their advice and wisdom and have made some wonderful lifelong friends. I am now able to give back to that community and hope one day to be able to do the same here.

I look forward to meeting some folks in the Orange County area. Please feel free to get in touch with me!

A prosperous new year to everyone!
