I'm a newbie to STR/MTR world. I recently started to run my rental as STR on AirBnb & Vrbo platforms. In parallel, I also advertise my rental in FurnishFinder hoping to seek MTR tennant. My property is very close to Duke Univ & Hospital, RTP area and Durham downtown. Most recently, I got an inquiry from a translant patient who is willing to sign 4months leasing contract and then follow by moth-by-month contract. As I am newbie landlord, in such case, is there any recommendation or do I even consider to rent out? Anything I need to put in the lease term? Appreciate the advice, thanks!!!
