@Justin Craver Absolutely! I would love to meet up sometime. I can free up some time  most weekdays so if you wanna get together one day, let me know.

@Davis Evans I haven't gotten together with anyone in person yet.  I've been focusing on a couple investments that i've been working on and due to a few family issues, i've had to take on some more responsibilities. I'm starting to return my focus to investments. are you ever in the burlington area? I'd be happy to meet up.

@Don Taylor Thank you, sir! It was a pretty intense class. before you decide to get yours let me put a few caveats out there. its expensive. between the classes, class materials, exam costs, licensing costs, mls costs, costs of hanging your license somewhere, business cards, etc, etc, it can cost a few thousand easy to get started. however, if youre still thinkin about it, triangle instutute of real estate is an amazing school with amazing teachers and tons of valuable testing materials. i highly recommend it. See if you can get a class with tiffany ross (or stiles, i cant remember which she goes by now). she kept everything really fun whcih is hard to do when youre talking about boring material.

@Laura Yates

They are going to be single family homes. We're hoping to start construction soon. Right now were working out sewer and water access and other logistical stuff. I'm planning on using the income from that to start funding my buy and hold portfolio.

I hope to get down to Charlotte for some reia meetings. I'd love to meet up. Maybe get some insight in the market down there.

@Aaron Pait

Thanks for your service and welcome to BP! I also just joined recently after about a year or so listening to the podcast. It sounds like we're of the same mind in terms of buying and holding, so if you need help with a deal or want to partner on something feel free to reach out. I'm also a realtor so if I can be of help in that regard, I would be happy to! Happy investing!

@Chris Salerno

Hey Chris! I'm a new investor and realtor in the triad, triangle, and Charlotte area. I would love to connect and see if we can work together.

That goes for everyone in this thread. Happy investing!

@Justin Windham

Thanks for the welcome! I've been listening to the podcast for over a year now and I felt like it was time to get into the community and start trying to make some connections and do some networking. Find some like minded people in my area and see if we can't make some big things happen! From what I can gather, your neck of the woods is a pretty hot market. I wouldn't mind investing there in the future. Just starting out, I would think investing more locally would be a little wiser.

@Cedric Macon  Absolutely! I'd love to work together. Also, if you know anyone that needs a partner keep me in mind. I'm still kinda green in the investing scene, so I would definitely be interested in working with someone with experience.

@Dmitriy Fomichenko Thanks for the advice! That sounds like an awesome place to start!

@Nathan Faucett Thanks! I have looked into the Triad REIA and I hope to get to one soon. Hopefully I'll see you there! Feel free to reach out to me if there is anything I can help you with!
