You can go to the courthouse and talk to Tax Claims office of you can go the sheriff department and get hold of sheriff sales which are normally held monthly. You can all of this free without list source and in my opinion I would drive around and look at these houses...which alot of the time are abandoned.  However do your title search or you'll get burned and a lot more to Sheriff sales than just bidding....need to get opening upset price acceptable.

If you do walk around look for old beat up homes and the jot them down and do a yellow note, business card of see if on list source.   A lot to your question.   You maybe spending a lot of time doing your homework before you are initially successful.   There are a lot of people at these sales who would be willing to help so don't be afraid to ask.    I really didn't answer the middle question though.    Just some thoughts.

Ian....you seem to know a lot about Crowdfunding.  Did you ever finish narrowing down your search?  I would be interested in what you came up with.   What is your take on Renatus?  Do you consider them some what of a crowdfund as well? Would be interesting in talking with you further

What can people tell me about this Investment Organization?    WOuld appreciate all good and bad comments.   It seems like a good plan but concerned about cost and also are they just making money on getting others to sign up (Pyramid Scheme) or are they truly investing

Paul thanks for note and sorry for my tardiness in replies....most of homes have been around the 100K to 125K mark so far. Trying to see who should I send regarding references....we have a superstar realtor who actually helps in finding and he handles all the selling thus far. What type of reference do you want and I'll try to send. Thanks.

THanks for the good feedback. Everyone I talk to says Mobile Homes have no resale value but I am looking at more than just one....I am looking at developments and turning them into an assisted living platform. When I say that, they say it might work. Your take and direction on this was very interesting...funny my wife and family are all KS....mission and Lenexa. I will keep you posted. If I run into some questions mind if I pass them by you?

I live in PA ....second highest concentration of people over the age of 65 in the US and I have been interested in working w/ mobile homes. There are a lot of them. Any one out there have experience with them. I have recently seen some set up as assisted living opportunities and thought that might be a niche market to tap into....any thoughts.
