Post: Should we sell "as is" or add on and upgrade our apartments?

Hi all! My team currently owns fifteen apartment units, ranging from studios to two bedrooms.  We are currently only charging $650/month for rent for the studios and a little more for the one and two bedrooms.  We are contemplating whether we should sell all of them right now, "as is," sell only a block of units or add on about 10-12k sq ft, which would include a gym, possibly a clubhouse and about 15 more units; thus increasing the value and then selling... What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Good evening to the BP community!  I am excited about this new venture.  I am currently a stay at home mom, working my accounting business from home as well.  I have RE dreams in mind for myself and family, thus I am finishing what I started many years ago.  I am taking my last RE class in order to obtain my RE license. I am working with a construction team, who have successfully bought a fixer-upper and have flipped it! Now...we're just trying to rent or sell it, whatever, works best for the time being. However, we are driven to get the ball rolling with our investment/flipping team!  Eventually, I would like to have the cushion in order to purchase one or two vacation/family homes and turn one into a bed and breakfast! Hey, you have to have dreams, in order to make goals and take action! Cheers!
