Mark,
@Dmitriy Fominchenko is the President of a Self-Directed IRA company. He can point you in the right direction as he did with me a week or two ago on a phone conference. Check him out and he can answer your questions.

@Tim WilderbeesteThank you for posting this. I am currently researching LLC's myself and have found Nevada, Wyoming, and Delaware to be the better states; however, I do not have/know someone who can formally accept paperwork if a lawsuit was to come up.
@James MillerThanks for the Series LLC lead. This form of an LLC might work for me and the investors I might work with in regards to multiple investments, but keeping the assets separate.

At the end of the day, it is hard to care about the credit score when you were just given $40-$60k and you know you will be using it for the 'good' type of debt. I have/had a score of 880. And the only perks to it is getting more CC's. So ya it's good to have for more CC's and credit when the time arrives

When people use the term 'guru,' it means a company that promotes their business by trying to sell you on that idea that you need them to succeed in real estate.
You can use the CC, if I remember correctly, for the down payment, or the cashier's check that they send you.
