Hello all, My wife and I are in the process of flipping our first deal and I need some advice please. When all said and done we plan on selling our property for around $600K. With all the advancements made in laminate flooring and vinyl do you recommend going with these options or real wood? Thank you

Hello all, My wife and I just bought a live in flip and even though we plan on doing most of the work ourselves we know we will need some professional help. Subs we’ll most likely need - tile, drywall, plumbing and electrical. We also obtained a tax ID and were wanting to know how we go about get a contractor discount with building materials. Any info would be great. As always I look forward to any feedback Thank you Ted

Hello all, My wife and I are super excited about our first venture into the FI/Real Estate investor world. We decided to sell our house and take the equity to purchase a live in flip. We have our work crew ready with a toddler and a new baby coming in September, good times. I have posted a few post with questions in the past and I’ve received excellent advice and feedback so far so I’m reaching out again. I don’t want to come off as selfish and ungrateful, I would love to assist anyone out there in any way. We plan on doing most of the work ourselves but we know some of the projects will require a professional. And I know with all the crews working on Harvey issues it’s tough locating GREAT subs. If anyone has any advice for a live in family flip or has any contacts for solid subs please share. As always I appreciate the help. Thank you rock stars

Happy Saturday all, My wife and I are getting started in the FI, Real Estate investor world by selling our current house (putting on the market in a few weeks) and buying another house in our same neighborhood to live in and renovate over the next two years. We closed on the new house yesterday. This deal came on us fast and we needed to act. Can anyone tell me if it’s still possible to do a 1031 seeing as we haven’t sold our current home but we already bought the new house? We our purchasing the investment property for less than we are selling our current home. We were only in the current house for a little over a year. Please let me know your thoughts and any advice that could possibly help with taxes and cost? We are planning on doing most of the work ourselves Thank you rock stars
