Hi all,

I’m looking at signing up with Propstream or Privy to help find and compare investment properties. Can anyone provide me with their recommendations on which tool is better?

Thank you

Morning rock stars,

so my wife and I purchased our first investment property this year. It's a STR in Galveston TX and we have some solid equity built up. I was planning on doing the BRRR method but I've also heard about doing a HELOC. Our lender informed me that you can not do a HELOC on a second home; is this correct?

Good morning all,

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

My wife and I are buying a beach house in Galveston TX. It’s older so we plan on doing a little work. Can anyone provide advice on new windows and siding?

We have had three quotes so far; one from Home Depot, Window world and a local company. Anyone worked with the two major companies before?

Two should we use hardy plank or vinyl siding?

We are about 7 blocks in from the beach and it’s a small 800 sqft home.

Thank you again and happy investing

Hello all,

My wife and I are considering several cities to invest in short term rentals. We are looking at areas where we would also enjoy to take our family yearly.

Can you provide some insight on Asheville NC?

Is Asheville the best option for STR or are there surrounding cities/Suburbs that have better views/rates?

I know it all depends on our personal goals.

What’s your occupancy rate? I’m not looking to achieve 80-90%.

Any other helpful info would be great

Thank you to all who participate in the forums

@Steve Morris

Hi Steve,

We are on our second live in flip so we’re overseeing the work. Through referrals we’ve found some pretty good subs so no need to bring in GC.

Thank you for your response

Do you need sub contractors to sign W9 for all work?

Would you want this for your primary residence as well or just investments?

Thank you

Hello all and Happy New Year, My wife and I are doing our first house hack and we’re trying to do most the work ourselves but we don’t want to take any chances on the floor and cabinets. If anyone knows of a good hardwood floor company and cabinet company in Houston, we would love some trusted recommendations. Thank you
