Hello! My name is Tessa Burks I'm 25 years old. I'm from Casper, Wy  and I am currently a stay at home mom to my 5 year old son, Breckyn and 1 year old daughter, Blake. Before having my daughter, I worked hand in hand with a very successful local real estate investor whom focused mostly on flipping and an owned abundance of rentals. I managed all of his in-town rentals and did his personal assisting. So lucky for me, I got a foot in on watching the offers be made, the deals be funded, the budgets and repair cost estimations be prepared, all right in front of me! (Though a lot of that is still confusing to me) He let me participate in on the job management and let my love for flipping really take off by letting me completely do one of his funded flips. I got to do it all. It was the most exciting thing I've ever done. My ultimate goal in real estate is to become a flipper, a real estate developer and own rentals. I hope that in 10 years I can be a mentor to someone like me looking and digging for all the information I can, to have my passion become what I do for a living. I'm so happy to be a part of BiggerPockets, it truly is an amazing place! So much useful information. I don't think I would have ever felt so ready to kick my career into gear without this website.
