This week we'll be speaking with David Kanstoroom from Oasis Custom Homes in St Petersburg on zoom, to help us figure out the age old question: "What is my contractor thinking?!"
We meet every Wednesday at 7pm on zoom. We also meet the first Wednesday of the month in St Petersburg, FL. See the website for full details: www.remixinvesting.com

Way harder to find an internal team member
What kind of internal team member?
Any really but it scales. The time, energy, commitment and cost of hiring internally has been much harder for me to navigate. I think it's mostly because those you mentioned are service providers, and while difficult to land a perfect one every time, their ultimate goal is to work with you as one of many clients.
With an employee hire they're committing to only you and vice versa. And you have to convince them that your vision is the way. They need to ultimately buy-in to your ideas, procedures, temperament etc. And you're training them of course, so if it doesn't work, how much lost time and cost on starting over?
Internal is TOUGH

I learn so much from the BP community, but what I've learned most recently couldn't be timed any better. I've grown to the point now where I need more team members, that may come in hiring or partnerships.
Thanks to Matt & Justin and the MF Bootcamp, I now know my wife and I are the Hammer and the Money, and I will be seeking a Hunter and a Brain.
Currently accepting all qualified applications, lol.

This is our 3rd meetup which we will now continue the first Wednesday of the month!
In this meeting, we all learn through the experiences of others. Each week we will share a rookie experience and/or an advanced one. Our purpose here is develop a learning opportunity for all levels by sharing stories and answering questions. My desire is to educate all on the benefits of real estate investing, in any capacity.
There will be ZERO pitches! I have nothing at all to sell you. The bar does though... so drink and food specials will be exclusive to our group.
Oct 5 Agenda: TBD
(Sept 7 Agenda: We had a guest speaker discuss underwriting from the lender's side. What do they look for in an investor? We also discussed value-add underwriting and utilizing the due diligence period effectively.)
