Thanks for tip on cloud brokerages - I've never heard of those before. Yes, the point was not to split commissions on my deals. If I can keep all the commissions, not deal with another office, and take less liability sounds like a win-win!

Hey all,

This is my first post on BP!

I'm looking to sit for a RE broker's license in California and I'm aware that it's possible to skip the 2+ years experience requirement: http://www.dre.ca.gov/examinees/BrokerExperience.h...

I have never held a RE salesperson license. My issue is that I've already graduated with a 4-year degree without a major/minor in RE. Is it possible to simply take several college courses (CalBRE approved) right now that will fulfill the requirement to sit for the broker's exam?

Has anyone done this or know anyone that has qualified for the broker's exam this way?

I haven't been able to find detailed information on this subject yet so if there's an existing thread on this topic I'd be grateful for a link.

Thanks!
