Yes I will be living in a unit if I do this. I'm looking for cash flow if I do this.

Then I would definitely buy multifamily.  That's one thing my husband and I wish we'd done differently - bought a multifamily first and lived in one of the units.

Thanks! The more I'm considering this the better it's sounding.

I'm getting ready to buy my first rental property. What do you guys feel is the better buy, a single family home or buying a quadplex?

Welcome back! I too live in Maryland, Baltimore in particular and am looking to buy some rental properties and flip properties. I'm new to real estate investing. Have you bought any properties in the Baltimore or Maryland area?

Hello. No, not yet. I'm looking now. So I'm hoping very soon now I will be starting.
