@Sheri Fluellen are your STR's Condos/Townhomes?

Hello BP family,

As you all know, demand is exceeding supply. I find myself wanting to tour property, but every time I get a tour scheduled, the property goes under contract.

What are you guys doing to combat this?

I’m thinking of putting an offer in, and once I go under contract, I can view the property.

Thoughts, suggestions, etc?

@Joshua McMillion Thanks for your input! Thing is, this will be my first home purchase, and I’ll be utilizing a low rate loan that requires me to stay in the home for a year. I’m in CO but not sure if I should wait till I move, which will be another 1-1.5 year

Hi BP Fam,

After much reading and saving, I'm ready to take action in REI. I already know the strategy I want to utilize, which is House Hacking.

Thing is I’m planning to move to TN in 1-2 years to pursue school. I currently live with my parents for free in Colorado so I don’t have any housing expenses.

If you were in my position, would you house hack now, or wait till you moved to another state an invest then? Why?

Hello BP family! Does anyone have any insights on how one can increase how much of a loan they can qualify without putting a co-borrow's name on the loan? I'm wanting to get into house hacking and make under 50k a year. Besides living frugally and saving, I want to know if there are any other creative ideas that can let a bank/lender loan more to me. Thanks!

Hello BP Family. I'm currently in the lender phase in my house hacking journey. I want to find the best lender/bank that can offer me the most while being able to use grantss. Has anyone ever used Security First Financial for a home purchase? Thanks.
