@Jonna Weber thanks for your welcoming words. This is so funny, I am listening to all the BP podcasts in reverse order ( I started at 256). On my drive home tonight, episode 80 came on with none other than Jonna Weber. You have a great story. Very inspiring/motivating. Thanks again! Tim

Hi everyone. I'm Tim McKelvey from Palmdale CA. My son introduced me to Bigger Pockets and Rich Dad Poor Dad back in March. I immediately joined the site and started listening to podcasts and reading about 20 highly recommended books. I became really excited and tried to find a way to invest before my W2 income goes away. In July, I bought my first rental property, a REO townhouse on the other side of the country. So I am just now getting active on the site.

I am an R&D supervisor and coming up on semi-retirement.  So I am clearly getting started a little later in life.  I'm hoping to continue investing in buy-and-holds with a goal of 5-10 doors in the next 3 1/2 years.  Just looking for this to augment my pension for a more robust retirement.

Well, enough for my basic intro.  I look forward to chatting, and perhaps working with some of you in the future.
