I do not have a property yet. I have a Holdings LLC in WY and a Buy and Hold LLC in my state of WI. I am wondering if I keep the money in the Holding LLC and do multiple buy and hold passive llcs or do it another way
I think you are putting the cart before the horse. You need to buy property and learn how to manage it well. You're spending way too much energy figuring out how to protect something you don't even have against enemies you haven't even made.
I've been on BiggerPockets since 2010 and haven't found anyone that lost their equity to a lawsuit. Focus on buying houses and building a sustainable business, then figure out how to protect it.

Hey everyone, for corporate structure do you operate your bank accounts out of the Holdings LLC or the LLC operating in my state? Thanks!
How many properties do you have? How many LLCs do you have?

I sold my first home I purchased in Phoenix, AZ, and bought a house in Calumet County, WI. I kept about 70k from it to put into a rental property of some kind, but I have never figured out what to do to get myself in the game.
Also, I am eligible for a VA loan (up to $450k) since I have a 30yr fixed on my new home. Thoughts?
