You have to remember it's never personal it's only business. I would raise the rents $100 personally. You are still below market value and should bring him the comps to prove so. Are you interested in selling the unit?

I'd recommend that you just get it done. You don't want something to come back and bite you in the but that could have been prevented only if you had known.

I second Chris Mason theory like he said it will take a lot of hustle and bustle on your end but hey it's worth it you will have your own home!

I'm sort of in the same situation although my days on market are a lot longer! They are asking 135k for the duplex I submitted an offer for 75k. Hope I get it! Please keep us updated on your decision making process
