@Paul Thompson Hey Paul,
Looks like a 5 year ARM? Who knows where rates could be when the 5th year of you having the same fixed rate will be before it adjusts. You can shop rates with lenders for another refinance at that 5th year, look for a longer fixed term at that time or whatever you feel works best for you and your property at that time.

Great question and something that I have thought about as well, but not just for RE Agents but also on the lending side as there is already a pattern of automated processing/underwriting. The biggest factor though is trust, and it can be nearly impossible for a lot of people to trust something they can't talk to/meet with in person. This is especially true on large financial transactions/a place to live, which comes in real estate.

Hello and I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!
I am new to the Bigger Pockets Community, and its amazing to join an online Real Estate community that has such an active/great response rate to all forums/questions asked by everyone. I have been in the Mortgage Industry as an LO for 2 years now and I am loving every moment of it. Browsing through the website has been a great educator for me as well for my plans to invest in real estate in the future.
Thank you,
