Plus I am new to real estate and could use the education. Thanks.

I would like to jump on the "band wagon" with @Angela Hansen.  We are looking to expand our knowledge in the multi family arena.  Thanks.

Hello All,

We are looking to purchase rental properties out of state and therefor will need to hire a property management company.  There are tons of horror stories out there and we are afraid of being one of those.  My question is, how do you find and vet these companies when we are across country?  What questions do you ask?  Thanks for any input.

Hello All! My wife and I are new here to BP and are in the infancy stage of our investment "careers".  We currently own a commercial building in our home town with 7 tenants but we really want to branch out and get into multi-family units (duplex, tri, four, etc.)  Our main goal is to build up cash flow.  Where we live the prices seem to be out of balance for us to do this, therefor we are looking out of state.  I am trying to read everything I can in BP and I know that this topic has been discussed ad nauseam, for that I apologize.  So, who do we talk to, where do we look, and what advice do you have for obtaining out of state financing?  Thanks in advance for any response.
