I agree that the WDO's are an extreme problem here, but I don't see any mention of HURRICANES!!  Stick built properties are a "huff and a puff" away from tumbling over.  Especially if the WDO's have been feasting on the property for awhile.  Masonry (block) is always your best bet.  For both insurance rates and resale value.
