Everyone - Thanks for the help!  I've already started the process by following @Don Harris' suggestion and attending the meetup last night about Subject 2.  Definitely, a topic I am interested in exploring some more.  If you have any more suggestions please let me know!  @Chris T. , adding the keywords was one of the first things I did.  Can't wait to continue learning and then finally make the jump.

Hello Everyone - I am a young professional in Charlotte, North Carolina that is looking to take advantage of my planning and zoning knowledge to create a profile of buy and hold properties throughout the region.  Being new to everything, I am looking for any information that you have found helpful and am even willing to grab a beer and talk things over.  I have a ton of questions and am always looking for more information.

Hey Everyone!  I am trying to understand the information that is important when it comes to Commercial Real Estate investing.  Specifically, I am trying to start a company that allows investors to see where rezoning proposals are taking place via a map.  The map takes a tax parcel and applies a tag to it that would allow potential investors to see details associated with the rezoning while also looking at surrounding rezonings.  

With that said, I want to make sure the tool I am providing is meaningful and need to understand what other information would be critical to commercial real estate investors.
