I'm in Columbia.  Happy to help.

Congrats, Brian.  Sounds like a solid deal. Glad you were able to work through the kinks.  I'm a broker here in Columbia.  I work on smaller C/B multifamily family deals often in SC, NC, GA.  We should connect.

Thank you for your recommendations!

I am looking for recommendations or referrals for South Carolina home inspectors and rehab contractors. Columbia, Greenville, and Charleston. Any leads are much appreciated.

Hello BP Community,

I was curious if anyone cared to have a discussion on what the top 10-12 emerging markets in the Southeast for real estate acquisition of stabilized assets would be.  All real estate sectors considered. In theory, if you had $100M to invest, what markets would you want to be in?

This is a mini case study for me to branch out from my location, South Carolina.  I typically look at Greenville, Columbia, and Charleston (some Charlotte) but I'm curious where you think other hotspots might be.

I'll hop in the conversation if it gets going but I would like to see a few other opinions before I jump in.  Thanks a bunch.

@James Wachob great checklist. Thanks for sharing.

@Greg Dickerson

Thank you for your input, Greg.  I appreciate your encouragement and suggestions.

@Justin Craver

I joined the Facebook group you recommended as well.  Thanks again.

@Justin Craver

Thanks for you input, links, and resource recommendations. I would love to look at another deal analyzer so I will certainly check this one out.

Update:  Based on the wonderful recommendations here, I purchased the Michael Blank SDA earlier.  Love it.  I use spreadsheets similar all the time but it is reassuring to look at an expert's platform and understand it. Of course, it's better than what I currently use. I still must watch the videos and study to get full utility but, wow, I'm happy to have purchased it. Great deal.

Thanks to all who have contributed here so far.
