@Patti Robertson thank you! So if I wanted to go after tax credits, awarded by the HTC program, if a property is not "affordable" before i buy it. Can it be converted to affordable under the HTC program as well?

Im looking to invest in multi family (affordable housing to be specific). What kind of process is it to convert an existing 8 unit multi family project to section 8 affordable housing?
